Basic camera and laboratory techniques are studied, including camera operation and film developing and printing, which enable the student to communicate by using photographic images as creative visual statements A fully adjustable 35mm or larger format film camera is required

Photography, Int ( ART 030B )

An intermediate level course designed to strengthen applications in ?wet? lab environments. Students explore intermediate film techniques, studio lighting and experimental methods of photo graphic printing. Prerequisite: ART 030A or permission of instructor based on a portfolio presentation of student?s previous work.

Digital Photography ( ART 031 )

Covers basic digital photography techniques and the use of digital cameras. A digital camera with manually adjustable f stops and shutter speeds and a corresponding camera manual is required. A Digital Camera of at least 5 or 6 megaixels is required.

Broadcast Announcing ( RTV 02 )

Will introduce you to the basic tools needed to communicate a message clearly and effectively on radio and television. Students will broadcast assignments for KCOD.

Students will learn more advanced filmmaking techniques to create compelling short narrative films. Prerequisite: RTV-010A

Film Production III ( RTV 012 )

This course is advanced, hands-on intensive, digital filmmaking in which students, using the skills they have learned in their previous film production studies, develop, prep, produce, post-produce and distrubute a short narrative film based on an original screenplay. Prerequisite: RTV 009, RTV 011A, and RTV 013

Cinematography ( RTV 013 )

This course will introduce students to the fundamental elements of cinematography. It will serve as a prerequisite for Film Production III: Capstone, as well as provide a basic knowledge for someone who may not want to be a cinematographer but would like to be empowered by the knowledge gained in the class about what is involved during the process

On-Camera Acting ( RTV 014 )

This course is designed to introduce the actors and filmmakers to the challenges of on-camera film and voice over acting with additional focus on 21st century tools. Advisory: TA 002

Radio/TV Work Experience ( RTV 095A )
